Princess Royal visit to Quarriers Village

Mr. Robin Wilson, Quarriers Chairman had the honours of officially escorting Her Royal Highness through the receiving lines and introducing her to the staff and dignitaries on hand. After unveiling the plaque that will adorn Cottage 43, the Princess Royal visited with parents, carers, and residents of the newly dedicated cottage.
Luncheon followed in the marquis where dignitaries and invited guests had a chance to mingle before the arrival of Her Royal Highness.
A small group of Canadians, Fred Wardle and his wife Sue Traer, Donald and Melanie King, and William Robertson, were on hand for this momentous occasion.
