Peter McIntyre was a member of a party of twenty-four boys from the Quarrier’s: Homes who sailed from Glasgow at 8.15 p.m. on Friday, 28th March, 1930 on the Anchor:Donaldson steamer "Letitia".  He arrive safely at "Fairknowe" (the Canadian home) at midnight on the 7th April, 1930.

Dad passed away December 18, 1997. Dad was aware that I was following up with the Quarrier’s: Canadian connection however, he wanted no part in it. Dad always felt that Scotland had turned it’s back on him and that he was forced into slave labour in Canada.
